LBMA gold price
The LBMA gold price is the London benchmark set by electronic auction twice a day, at 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM IST (4:00 PM and 8:30 PM in winter), which replaced the London fix in 2015. Central banks and contracts settle against it; Module 2 tells its history, and a spot gold contract trades through the hours it is not set.
