Currency Conversion and Settlement

Mochatrade uses a fixed exchange rate of 1 USD = INR 90 for all transactions on the platform, so users are not exposed to fluctuations in the prevailing USD-INR exchange rate.

Fixed USD-INR Conversion Rate

Mochatrade uses a fixed exchange rate of 1 USD = INR 90 for all transactions on the platform.

While derivative contracts are denominated in USD for notional valuation, margin calculations, and profit and loss (P&L) tracking, all user obligations are maintained and settled in INR through the Indian banking system.

This fixed conversion mechanism ensures that users are not exposed to fluctuations in the prevailing USD-INR exchange rate when trading on Mochatrade.

Adding Margin to Your Account

Mochatrade accepts payments exclusively in Indian Rupees (INR). When you add margin to your account, the corresponding USD-equivalent amount is calculated using the platform’s fixed conversion rate.

For example: A payment of INR 15,000 will be displayed as USD 166.67 in your Mochatrade account.

The USD-equivalent value is used for trading calculations, while the underlying payment and settlement obligations remain denominated in INR.

Withdrawing Your Balance

Mochatrade displays your available withdrawal balance in both INR and its USD-equivalent value for convenience.

All withdrawals are processed exclusively in INR and transferred to your registered Indian bank account. You can specify the amount you wish to withdraw in INR.

For example: An available balance equivalent to USD 200 corresponds to INR 18,000 at Mochatrade’s fixed conversion rate.

No Exposure to Currency Fluctuations

The fixed USD-INR conversion rate applies consistently to margin calculations, trading P&L, and withdrawals. As a result, changes in the actual market exchange rate between USD and INR do not affect the INR value of your trading obligations or settlement amounts on Mochatrade.
