Web vs App: Where to Find Each Feature

Mochatrade works both on the web at mochatrade.com and in the mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. It is the same account and the same balance — you can sign in from either, and your positions, orders and funds stay in sync.

Prerequisites & Limits

  • Availability: MochaTrade is available only to Indian residents. If the app is unavailable on your device, ensure your phone's software is up to date and your device's time zone is set to Indian Standard Time (IST). You can also access MochaTrade through the web at mochatrade.com.

  • Sign-in: The same passwordless sign-in works on both — Google, Apple, or an email/SMS code. A new device or browser needs your PIN; trusted devices skip it for 30 days.

  • Passkeys: Some browsers and devices do not support passkeys. If the prompt does not appear, use another browser or your email code, and add a passkey later under Settings, then Security.

  • Display: The ₹ / $ toggle at the top changes only how amounts are shown, on both web and app.

Step-by-Step Navigation

  1. Trading: Open Market, pick a contract, choose Long or Short — the Trade page with its Positions, Open orders, Order history, Fills, Balances and Funding tabs is the same on web and app.

  2. Money: Deposits, withdrawals and linked bank accounts are under Funds (Total in your account, Available to withdraw, In positions, Transfers).

  3. Account: Settings holds Profile (email and mobile), Security (PIN, sign-in alerts, sign out of other devices), Verification (KYC status) and Bank and UPI.

  4. Support chat: In the app it is under Profile then Help and support; on the web, use the chat bubble on mochatrade.com.

Common Failures & Troubleshooting

  • Feature works on web but not in the app (or vice versa): Update the app, restart it and check your connection; on the web, clear your cache or try another browser. If it continues, contact support with your device, OS, app version and a screenshot.

  • App not found in the store: Search for 'Mochatrade' in the Play Store or App Store. The app is listed for Indian stores only — the web works meanwhile.

  • App crashing or slow: Update from the store, restart your phone and check your connection; on the web, clear the cache or switch browsers.

  • Passkey prompt not appearing: Your browser or device likely does not support passkeys — sign in with your email code or Google/Apple instead.
