Your name on Mochatrade is taken from your PAN, so it can't be edited in the app. Depending on what's wrong, here's what to do.
The spelling on Mochatrade looks wrong
If your PAN has the correct name: contact support on the live chat at mochatrade.com or write to [email protected] from your registered email. Our team will review it and let you know if any documents are needed.
If your PAN itself has the error: correct it with the Income Tax Department first. Once your PAN is updated, contact support and we'll take it from there.
You changed your name legally (marriage, gazette)
Update your PAN first. Your Mochatrade name always follows your PAN.
Contact support. Our team will tell you exactly which documents to share — for example your updated PAN and the marriage certificate or gazette notification.
We verify and update. Once the documents are verified, your name is updated on your account.
Your bank account name doesn't match your PAN
Bank accounts are verified against the name on your PAN:
Small differences — initials, a middle name, or a different name order — are usually fine. Our team reviews them, so no need to add the account again while a review is on.
A clearly different name means the account can't be verified. Please add a savings account held in your own name.
