Prerequisites & Limits
Self-service first: If you still have any two of email, mobile or PIN, tap Trouble signing in? and choose I lost my phone or I forgot my email — no support ticket needed.
Identity check: Support will ask you to confirm any two of: registered mobile, registered email, date of birth, last 4 characters of your PAN, or last 4 digits of your linked bank account.
Secure verification link: Sent only inside your support conversation. It works once, expires in 30 minutes, and needs a DigiLocker sign-in and a live selfie, matched against your original KYC.
After the update: You are signed out of all devices, your old contact details are alerted, and withdrawals pause for 24 hours for your safety.
Never share codes: Mochatrade will never ask for your PIN, OTP or sign-in code — not even during account recovery.
Step-by-Step Navigation
If you still have two of email, mobile or PIN: on the sign-in screen tap Trouble signing in?, choose I lost my phone or I forgot my email, and verify with the two you still have.
If both are lost: contact support on the live chat at mochatrade.com or write to [email protected].
Confirm any two identity details when asked. Never share your PIN or any code.
Complete the secure verification link (DigiLocker sign-in and live selfie) within 30 minutes.
Once the check passes and is approved by our team, your mobile or email is updated — sign in with your new details.
Common Failures & Troubleshooting
Verification failed: If your identity cannot be verified, we cannot update your details — your funds stay protected under the original credentials.
Cannot withdraw after recovery: Withdrawals pause for 24 hours after a contact change. A withdrawal you request now is sent automatically when the hold ends, and you can cancel it before then under Funds, then Transfers.
Verification link expired: The link works once and expires in 30 minutes. Ask support in the same conversation for a fresh one.
Link received by SMS, WhatsApp or a call: That is not us. We only send the verification link inside your support conversation — do not click it, and report it to support.
